Aussie Car Hoists, a supplier of highlift car hoists and mechanical garage gear, approached Excitation to drive sales through their e-commerce website. We quickly realised that just e-commerce alone may not be the ideal solution for Aussie Car Hoists. By not limiting ourselves to just e-commerce we were able to increase monthly sales by 117%.

Aussie Car Hoists, approached Excitation to drive sales through their e-commerce website and other channels. 

THE SOLUTION

Putting Digital to the test

With limited and unsuccessful digital campaigns undertaken plus huge commissions on marketplaces e.g ebay, our approach was to tackle Aussie Car Hoists’ account with fresh eyes.

As Aussie Car Hoists wasn’t purely e-commerce, a different approach was undertaken. Using a combination of digital campaigns, we drove consumers to the website but prospects were in deep research mode, they wanted to ask questions, they wanted expertise and recommendations. Phone calls and emails resulted in 80% of revenue with only 20% of sales happening through online store.

We identified bottlenecks quickly, Stock levels, shipping issues, backend / admin resource limitations.
